This dish will make 3 cups of 8 ounces most people to drink more then 1 1 / 2 cups for the most part. I like the taste of strong coffee with lots of cream, so this gets me 2 cups. R rthe thermos will keep coffee hot for the first hour but after that, once it cools down. However, it doesn 't have the problem of glass French press that start to lose heat immediately. Visually 's pretty nice looking French press.

The product is great .... I have another one and wanted to give a friend, but descprition said it is a 3 cup and it 's really only 1 1 / 2 cup. if you go to the bodum website you can find this out, but I didn 't know it until I went to their website to see how I screwed up. The cup is the eight real 3 cup. but it makes the best coffee you!
