Yes, the glass beakers are soooo easy to break. But the good news is that replacement is very easy to get. My new glass Beaker is my door three days after I placed my order. My challenge came in trying to cook my coffee while I was waiting (I used a small strainer with a paper towel). I have a tip for not breaking Beaker-future, when washing it, don 't have anything happened and dry it and put it back in the holder asap.
